Notice: auditions have now been closed, thank you to all who applied and participated in the studio. JLS itself has been closed as a studio since this time due to a lost interest in editing and motion design, we thank all those who participated in JLS and wish you all the best in future ventures. It was truly a great thing to be apart of. For those who read this and are wondering about JLS's legacy and history across the Animal Jam Editing (Motion Graphics and Typography) community, JLS started out in early 2014 as a small studio where friends would get together and use programs like Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas Pro 11, as well as Camtasia to make and design animal jam "music videos," (AJMVs for short). These short and sometimes long edits would be presented to the community for viewing enjoyment. As the trend in these videos went up and in more popularity, people soon found out the joys and fun in editing to these songs, thus forming cohorts and "studios" of 'Editors' like JLS.
