O Ministério Pedras Vivas teve seu início em 2011. Após uma conversa entre David e Paulo Júnior, a respeito do poder da música na propagação do evangelho de Jesus, o grupo começaria a se formar. Os dois já eram muito envolvidos no ministério de louvor da igreja Fonte da Vida, e foram movidos pelo chamado e desejo de começar um grupo para pregar a mensagem do Reino de Deus através do louvor e adoração. Brenda, esposa do David, e também ministra de louvor na igreja, logo abraçou o projeto. E Rodney, que também já era ministro de louvor na mesma igreja, passou a integrar o grupo. Com letras inspiradas na palavra de Deus e musicalidade atual, o Ministério Pedras Vivas vem se destacando e firmando no cenário nacional. Primando sempre pela qualidade musical e, acima de tudo, compromisso com o chamado de Deus, o grupo tem viajado por todo o Brasil, e exterior, compartilhando o evangelho de Jesus através de suas canções e ministrações.
