Gracias a la influencia de su madre, se crió en medio de las notas de la música romántica de los años 60 y 70. Desde siempre ha estado enamorado del sonido de la guitarra acústica y la ha interpretado por más de 15 años; primero para Artefacto, banda de rock colombiana conformada en el año 2007, y ahora para Alejandro Santa, su proyecto como solista. En el lado empresarial, Alejandro destaca por ser el fundador y gerente de la agencia musical LaMúsica.fm, empresa dedicada a la distribución digital de música y la administración de catálogos musicales.
