NEMSIS is een jonge band met echt een smoel, bestaande uit energieke muziek met rauwe gitaren, heldere vocalen en gekke geluidjes waarvan je niet weet waar ze vandaan komen. Zelf noemen ze het Modern-Oriental Grungepop. 3v12 NH noemde ze ‘episch’, ‘origineel’ en ‘energiek’ na hun optreden in de finale van de Rob Acda Award 2018, waar ze alle prijzen in de wacht sleepten. Deze show plus optredens op o.a. het Young Art festival, Indie In Town en als openingsact op het grote podium van Bevrijdingspop 2018– de beloning voor het winnen van de Rob Acda Award- veroorzaakten een buzz, die met elk optreden luider wordt. Op 7 juni 2019 is de debuut EP ¨Sugar, Why so Bitter?” op deze aarde geland (streamlink hieronder) tijdens een succesvolle releaseshow in de Bitterzoet te Amsterdam! Uitgereikt tot 3voor12 talent gaan zij met een voorwaartse blik hun welgemeende energie presenteren tijdens Popronde 2019!
