DETAILS ABOUT Nathan’s Type 1 Fitness
Type 1 Diabetic for 43 years and my journey of sport and exercise at high level to help others with Diabetes manage their diabetes whilst enjoying health and fitness. Certified Personal Trainer for 15yrs, competed at the Solo Mountain Bike 24hr World Champs in 2010, multiple 100km and 4-8hr mountain bike races & now trail running, as well as being a 2 x Australian Middleweight K1 Kickboxing Champion. I will be reviewing different exercise modalities like crossfit, cycling, running, kickboxing to name but a few and how best to tackle these as a Type 1 Diabetic. Hopefully you will be motivated to exercise more, worry less and reach your health & fitness goals. I will be reviewing different insulins, pumps, injections devices as well as sports equipment and general gossip around crossfit, sports and keeping fit. Being a keen Parkrun participant, some of my videos will highlight the highs and lows of running and how to tackle training and competing with diabetes.
