"use your instincts".. and that was it. just like my first flight, my eyes and wings snapped open. and i shot up into the air, reaching the top of the cliff again in seconds. the look on Reese's face was all the energy i needed. Nariko stood on the edge of the cliff. looking rugged and pale. "Haze!" he yelled. his face was a mixture of shock and relief, but most of all, gratitude. i moved in a flash. grabbing Nariko before Reese or any of the others could react. with a smirk at Reese's increasingly red face, i took off.. heading North. "I'm not like the Southern Reapers. I may be one, but I refuse to act like I am.
