El Zar es un dúo integrado por Facundo Castaño Montoya en voz y Pablo Giménez en guitarra. Formado en Buenos Aires en 2014, dentro de sus shows principales se encuentran los festivales Lollapalooza, Nueva Generación y Rock en Baradero. En 2017 resultaron ganadores de la Bienal de Arte Joven en la categoría música. Con una sensibilidad no censurada, El Zar mantiene el espíritu de la música argentina. Los shows en vivo mutan hacia la banda, integrada por Bruno Dante (batería), Nicolás Garay (bajo), y Mateo Dafour (teclados y programación). El Zar lleva editados tres discos: Círculos (2016), A Los Amigos (2018) y Pura Casualidad (2020). Sus últimos singles incluyen: Perdiendo el Control (2021), El Momento Perfecto (2021) y El Disparo (2022). En enero de 2022 comenzaron la grabación de su próximo trabajo de estudio en Rio de Janeiro, "lo más sincero y verdadero" de su obra. Muy pronto estará disponible para todo el mundo.
