Kardeş olduklarından habersiz olan Mehmet ile Ahmet'in yolları Ahmet'in iş için İstanbul'a gelmesiyle kesişir. Mehmet eskiden pavyonlarda assolistlik yapan annesi Leyla ile İstanbul'da yaşamakta, Ahmet ise aile şirketlerinin başında annesi Azimet ve ölüm döşeğinde olan babası Bereket Bey ile Gelibolu'da yaşamaktadır. Ahmet ailesinin onaylamadığı sevgilisi Derya'yı kaybetmemeye çalışırken Mehmet'in sevgilisi Selin ise Mehmet'in hiç niyeti olmamasına rağmen onunla evlenmenin hayallerini kurar. Ahmet'in şirketinin muhasebecisi Müge, Derya ile arkadaştır ama bunu gizler ve Derya'ya Ahmet hakkında casusluk yapar. Fakat bir süre sonra gönlünü Ahmet'e kaptırır ve işleri karıştırır. Şirketin müdürü Turgay ise kör kütük Müge'ye aşıktır. İstanbul'da farkında olmadan Mehmet'i peşindeki mafya olan Müjdat'tan kurtaran Ahmet dolandırılır. Kendisini dolandıran kişinin tam ensesine yapışmışken memleketten gelen ölüm haberiyle sarsılır ve her şeyi bırakıp memlekete döner. Ama kabusu peşini bırakmaz...
