A La Leuca se formalizou como banda no segundo semestre de 2017, mas as músicas já eram há tempos divagações das irmãs Mariana Bonanomi (guitarra e voz) e Helena Bonanomi (guitarra e voz) . Quando se juntaram à Dora Hoff (baixo) e Carolina Werutsky (bateria) a mistura de referências musicais foi bem clara. O primeiro EP, “Dente de Leite”, foi lançado no primeiro semestre de 2018 pela Deckdisc. Nas suas músicas manifestam nostalgias ligadas à infância entre outros temas que estarão conectados à psicodelia moderna e experimentalismos leves.
