Los hombres, Tomás (Amigorena) y Alfred (Ajaka), amigos desde la adolescencia. Sus respectivas esposas, Natalia (Peña) y Verónica (Krum), súper compinches. Sus hijos prácticamente se han criado juntos, casi como hermanos. Y sus familias -en particular Marcela (Santa Ana) hermana de Tomás- empleados, jefes y amigos –entre las que se destaca Susan (Toscano), íntima de Natalia- se conocen todos entre sí. Han compartido vacaciones, festejos y la casa, porque ambos matrimonios viven en casas contiguas desde hace veinticinco años.
