Aos sete anos Tom Chris demonstrava enorme inclinação pela musica quando iniciou piano clássico e participou de vários festivais interpretando canções da MPB. Gravou 7 CDs solos e 2 DVDs. O primeiro disco solo de Cristiano Silva (TomChris) foi gravado no ano 2001. Com produção musical de Luiz Chaffin e participação da cantora Maíra, o CD "Cristiano Silva" emplacou cerca de 80% de seu repertório nas emissoras de rádio de Goiânia. Em 2001, 2002 e 2003, participou do FICA (Festival Internacional de Cinema e Vídeo Ambiental), na cidade de Goiás - GO. Em 2004, participa de todo o circuito de shows do Estado e continua a ser um dos cantores de Goiás mais executados nas emissoras de rádios de Goiânia, Palmas, Campo Grande e varias outras cidades do Centro Oeste. Em meados de junho é convidado para participar do projeto “Um Gosto de Sol”, no qual tem o seu show gravado e transformado em um disco Acústico (piano, voz e violão).
