Aquaset History ist ein geschichtswissenschaftliches Studienprojekt zur Erforschung der deutschen Geschichte des 20 Jahrhunderts. Der Schwerpunkt unserer Arbeit liegt in der Untertage Verlagerung (U-Verlagerung) der nationalsozialistischen Rüstungsindustrie im 2.Weltkrieg. Dieser Kanal soll erinnern, darstellen und aufklären, was damals an den einzelnen Schauplätzen in dieser Hinsicht geschah. Was ist U-Verlagerung? Nach dem die ersten alliierten Bomben auf die kriegswichtige Industrien Nazideutschlands fielen begann, unter der Planung von Albert Speer, die dezentrale Untertage Verlagerung. Die Rüstungs-Fabriken wurden unterteilt und in bombensicher, unterirdische, Bereiche verlegt. Als Örtlichkeiten wurden hierfür, sowie bestehende Bergwerke, Verkehrstunnel und natürliche Höhlen ausgebaut, als auch völlig neue Stollenanlagen geschaffen. Im damaligen „Großdeutschen Reich" gab es weit über 700 solcher unterirdischen Anlagen, die mit Hilfe versklavter Zwangsarbeiter unter unmenschlichen Bedingungen entstanden und betrieben worden sind. ____________________________ Aquaset History is a historical project to research forgotten aspects of the German history in the 20th century.The main point of interest are the underground factories of the NS wartime industry. After the massive bomb raids against the German industrial centers, they began to develop a system of underground production facilities which were situated in old minings, excavations and even in old tunnels. These facilities were built with the workforce of concentration camp inmates under inconceivable bad circumstances. The death of the working slaves was a accepted part of the "extermination through forced labour" strategy of the NS regime. If one thinks about the holocaust today, you may have the great extermination camps like Ausschwitz and Treblinka in mind, but not the approximated 700 areas of forced work and extermination combined with the erection of secret production units, the so called German "Untertageverlagerung". The German industry was a willing accomplice of the intentions of the 3rd reich and its war crimes during that period.
