LUCINEIDE (Leyde) e MARINILZA (Laura) nascidas no Estado de Mato Grosso, Lucineide na cidade de Guiratinga e Marinilza na cidade de Pedra Preta, filhas do Sr. José e dona Sidelina, foram criadas na “roça” juntamente com seus déz irmãos trabalhando no plantio de: arroz, feijão e milho. Seus pais eram os rezadores de terço da região, o primeiro contato da dupla com a música foi através dos cânticos religiosos, além dos causos de fim de tarde, rodas de viola nas reuniões de famílias e da influência do irmão mais velho que sempre esteve envolvido com a música através de duplas e trios do qual fez parte. Por isso, com 10 e 13 anos começaram a cantarolar na beira do rio em seus afazeres doméstico.
