Todas las personas que formamos el equipo de trabajo del Santuario La Candela, tenemos una meta común: promover unos hábitos de vida más respetuosos con el medio ambiente y con todos los seres que habitan este planeta, además del rescate y rehabilitación en nuestro centro de acogida (Santuario) de animales de diferentes especies, procedentes del abandono, maltrato o explotación. Entendemos una vida vegana como ideal, alejándonos en todos los aspectos de un tipo de vida poco comprometido con el medio ambiente o sujeto al consumismo que tanto abunda en esta sociedad; preferimos reciclar que comprar y sobrevivir que abusar. Nuestra filosofía es tajante, entendemos la privación de libertad como una de las peores formas de maltrato pasivo que podemos ejercer sobre estos seres, por eso nuestro Santuario está diseñado para proporcionarles toda la libertad que podemos. Todas las vidas son dignas de respeto por el simple hecho de existir.
