Wir leben in einer globalen Welt, in der das wirtschaftliche Handeln der Unternehmen Einfluss auf das Leben vieler Menschen und die Umwelt hat. Hier tragen auch Jugendliche -- und zwar in ihrer Rolle als Verbraucher -- Verantwortung. Denn wer bewusst einkauft, auf fair und ökologisch produzierte Waren setzt und sein Handeln als Verbraucher reflektiert, trägt zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung bei. Auch Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) ist vor diesem Hintergrund von zentraler Bedeutung. Das Konzept CSR beschreibt die soziale und ökologische Verantwortung der produzierenden Unternehmen. Es geht für uns alle darum, freiwillig Verantwortung für die Zukunft unserer Gesellschaft zu übernehmen. „MitVerantwortung" will auf die Bedeutung, Notwendigkeit und Aktualität einer nachaltigen Entwicklung in der globalen Wirtschaft aufmerksam machen. Das Projekt wird von der Stiftung Jugend und Bildung entwickelt und vom Bundesministerium für Justiz und Verbraucherschutz (BMJV) gefördert.
