Disability Awareness was created to give encouragement to people with disabilities so that they could have a fulfilling life. Chris has a masters in Software Engineering and was a programmer analyst for 14 years. Lisa has a degree in Women Studies and now works with women who have been raped. We want to show people who have a disability that they can accomplish their dreams if they really want to. As we grew up, there wasn't role models to look up, so we feel today society really needs role models to look up to, and we could be awesome role models. We wrote our life story about our struggles we over came through the years. The title of our book is "They Sad We Couldn't...". We will let you know how to buy it when it is ready.
