SEKILAS SEJARAH - Sepulang belajar dari Malaysia, Ustadz Musthafa Umar memulai Pengajian Tafsir Al-Quran (2007-2008), dimulai dari Surat Al-Fatihah (ta'awudz). Pada awalnya, pengajian dilaksanakan di Ruangan Kelas Tafaqquh (kantor lama), namun karena jamaah bertambah banyak, akhirnya dipindahkan ke Masjid Raya An-Nuur Provinsi Riau. Selang beberapa tahun kemudian, pengajian dipindahkan ke Masjid Nurul Haq (depan kantor Tafaqquh yang sekarang), 2022. Alhamdulillah, pengajian masih terus berlangsung hingga saat ini (Januari 2022), dan sudah sampai ke Surat Al-Anbiyaa'. Pendidikan: • Sekolah Dasar di Pekanbaru (1974-1980) • Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Pekanbaru (1980-1983) • Pondok Pesantren Modern Darussalam Gontor (1983-1987) • Sarjana Universiti Al-Azhar – Kairo Mesir (1989-1993) • Magister Universitas Islam Antara Bangsa Malaysia (1995-1999) • Program Doktor di Universitas Malaya Malaysia, jurusan Kajian Tafsir
