Auch wenn diese Stadt manchmal viel zu viel und manchmal viel zu wenig Liebe für sie hatte: Gegründet haben sich die Funkverteidiger natürlich in Leipzig. Im Süden dieser immer unfertigen Minimetropole, dem man sich über stickerbeklebte Auswüchse mit der Bahn nähert. Genau da fielen sie irgendwann nach einer der viel zu langen Aufnahmesessions für das Pierre Sonality Tape „Kein Hip Hop Fame“ aus dem Studio, um den Abend mit allerlei konsumierbaren Helfern im Freien ausklingen zu lassen. Letzen Endes blieb dann doch alles friedlich und der Mob landete im ehemaligen Heropark in Connewitz, Treppe, Haltestelle Neun. Genau hier, genau jetzt eine Crew zu gründen, war unausweichlich. Die meisten Heads hatten schließlich gerade für das Tape zusammen recordet, das nach Release in den (teilweise eigens dafür neu angeschafften) Walkmans und Tapedecks der Republik (und darüber hinaus) rotierte.
