Nel 1983 Benelli entra a far parte della Holding Beretta; nel 2000 si aggiudica l'appalto di fornitura dell'M4 al Corpo dei Marines; nel 2007, 47 anni dopo la sua fondazione, supera la soglia dei 3 milioni di fucili semiautomatici prodotti. Oggi Benelli è leader mondiale nelle vendite dei semiautomatici ed esporta in 78 Paesi nel mondo.
