I have grown up in the church having prayed the sinners prayer when I just was 5 years old. Even at that age I realized that what God had to say was very important and that hasn’t changed nearly 40 years later (John 10:27 KJV). Then the summer of 2017 He hit me with a big one that pulled the rug out on some of the foundational beliefs I had held to that were simply not in the bible and pagan in origin. I was re-baptized for the 3rd time in accordance with Acts 2:38 and then Like Scales Fell from my eyes and I was able to see many more beliefs widely taught in the church are not in the Bible and merely traditions of man (Colossians 2:8 KJV). My fervent prayer is that you would not immediately dismiss what is said here and that you would whole heartedly ask God if it is true and test is against the Bible.
