Los Tiburones Avispados de la Laguna nacen en San Juan de Pasto en el año de 2012 como una propuesta de música regional interpretando ritmos universales en 6/8 ritmo de la región. Convirtiéndose en un boom el tema Cali pachanguero del Grupo Niche en nuestro ritmo son sureño. Posteriormente forman parte del programa Colombia tiene talento de RCN llegando a las semifinales del programa. En el 2013 se graba el súper éxito el LUCHO el cual logra convertirse en el éxito de fin de año y carnavales, Logran el reconocimiento de los premios Correo del Sur y Cuy de Oro y Plata en los premios Aimer Ángel Restrepo. Los Tiburones, bajo la dirección musical del maestro Iván Delgado está conformada por siete músicos en escena con acordeón, teclados, bajo, requinto, guitarra, timbales, redoblante, congas, guiro y la timba el instrumento típico de nuestra región.
